Meet our team
Jeff Aherne
CEO
Jeff is the CEO and creator of EVHACS. Originally an Aeronautical Engineer, Jeff also studied Mechanical, Refrigeration, Software and Automotive Engineering. An inventor, innovator, entrepreneur and dedicated director and business owner. He successfully exited one of Europe’s leading Automotive Technology Companies, Cartell.ie in 2022. He is a Director of Electronomous and HVAC company AAC. He is also a licensed pilot.
Darran Faherty
CPO
Darran originally qualified as an electronic engineer in 2004. He worked as a process engineer for Intel Corporation until 2008. A change in career in 2008 led Darran to a cadetship with Cityjet where he gained a frozen ATPL from Flight Training Europe Jerez. He joined Aer Lingus in 2011 and now holds the position of Transatlantic Captain on the A320 Family fleet. He has been instrumental, along with Jeff Aherne, in developing, patenting, and growing EVHACS.
Dr John P. Byrne
In-House Legal Counsel
Dr. Byrne is a practising barrister with a doctorate in law. He has worked in a commercial law role for more than 14 years in the private sector and has previously held positions in the public sector as a legal researcher. He has published more than 70 articles mainly in peer-reviewed publications across a wide-variety of subject matters. He works closely with the business on a wide array of areas. John is also a shareholder in the Company.
Linda Earley
CFO
Linda is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland having qualified in 2006. She has previously trained and worked for KPMG gaining valuable exposure in a variety of business sectors. She then worked as a senior financial accountant for AXA Life Europe Limited. Linda also holds a Master’s in Accounting from UCD Smurfit Business School and an honours degree in Law & Accounting from University of Limerick.
Stephan Ramsey
CEE
Stephan qualified as an Electronic/Electrical Engineer and has been working in electronic design for 24 years. He has developed and deployed various technologies and is a registered patent inventor for blue chip companies. He has been working in the Automotive Industry for the last 12 years, with particular focus in the Electric Vehicle Charging sector.
Dylan Byrne
CMO
Dylan has been working in digital marketing and design for over 25 years. First in Ireland, for companies like CBT, Nua and pTools. He then moved to Shanghai where he lived for 18 years and was a successful entrepreneur, having created, managed and scaled two successful brands. He speaks fluent Mandarin.
