Crystal Air is a leading Irish HVAC provider, supplying advanced air conditioning and heat pump solutions across Ireland. Their headquarters in Kildare handles high volumes of daily office operations, with staff, vehicles, and service engineers constantly on the move.
They required a cooling solution for their open-plan office while also adding an EV charging point for staff and fleet vehicles, without adding unnecessary electrical infrastructure or additional cabling.
Crystal Air needed:
Traditional EV chargers would have required separate electrical works, additional trunking, and wall space. They wanted something cleaner and more efficient.
EVHACS installed a 6kW Mr Slim outdoor unit paired with a 7.4kW single-phase EVHACS integrated charger.
The charger uses the EVHACS Remote Socket, placed lower on the building for easy vehicle access while keeping the cooling unit safely mounted at height.
This integration reflects exactly what EVHACS was built for, reducing electrical load issues, cutting installation overheads, and combining essential building systems into one intelligent unit.
The Crystal Air team now benefits from:
Crystal Air is now equipped with a fully functional, space-efficient, and future-ready cooling and charging system, installed and manufactured in Ireland.
EVHACS brings heating, cooling, and EV charging into a single engineered system, reducing installation time, electrical complexity, and on-site infrastructure. By integrating directly with established HVAC platforms like Mitsubishi Electric Mr Slim, EVHACS allows businesses to add EV charging without redesigning their electrical layout or adding separate distribution hardware. The Remote Socket system provides placement flexibility, cleaner façades, and safer cable management, ideal for light commercial environments with constant vehicle movement. For companies like Crystal Air, EVHACS delivers practical efficiency: one power feed, one installation, and one system managing two of the highest electrical loads on a premises.
