The Marcy Hotel is a stylish, modern venue located in the heart of Drogheda, Co. Louth. The hotel attracts both locals and visitors for its vibrant atmosphere and contemporary design. As part of ongoing upgrades to improve comfort and sustainability, The Marcy wanted to install an efficient air conditioning system that would also future-proof the premises for electric vehicle charging.
Challenge
The Eden Bar required a cooling solution that could maintain a consistent temperature during peak hours while complementing the space’s modern aesthetic. Additionally, management wanted to prepare for the growing number of electric vehicle–driving guests and staff without adding multiple outdoor units or increasing the site’s electrical demand.
Solution
EVHACS supplied and installed two 7.1kW Single Phase Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning units combined with 7.4kW EVHACS Charger, each paired with an EVHACS Remote Socket Charger, heating and cooling The Eden Bar with Underceiling Units.
This integrated setup provides reliable climate control for the Eden Bar while simultaneously offering EV charging functionality — all managed through a single outdoor system.
