How Can We Help?
Energy Overload

The EVHACS unit can detect an energy overload situation.
If too much power is being consumed by Home, the power to the Heat Pump and EV charger (whichever is set to be the non-priority device) will be decreased and in extreme cases will be switched off to prevent an electrical overload.
If the power demanded by the home continues to rise, an overload situation may temporarily occur. This will be reflected in the graph. The status in the centre of the graph will change to OVERLOAD.
When the overload consumption subsides, power will then be made available to the EV charger and heat-pump.
The EVHACS system takes care of energy load balancing automatically and is controlled by the Elliot device. If no internet connection is available, load balancing is still active on Elliot. This ensures the electrical load on your home is protected at all times.
