How to Use EVHACS Prepay EV Charging

Charging with EVHACS is simple. Plug in, pay on your phone, and your vehicle will start charging automatically.

Before you begin

• Have your phone ready
• Plug your vehicle into the charger
• Check the charger code shown on the charger and on the payment sign
• Minimum prepay amount is €10 and maximum is €50

Quick steps

1. Plug in your vehicle
2. Scan the QR code or go to pay.evhacs.com
3. Enter the charger code if needed
4. Check the charging price
5. Enter your prepay amount
6. Add your voucher code and email address if needed
7. Complete payment
8. Your vehicle starts charging automatically

Step 1: Plug in your vehicle

Start by plugging your vehicle into the EV charger.

The charger code is shown on the charger itself.

Step 2: Open the payment page

Scan the QR code on the sign above the charger using your phone camera.

If you cannot scan the QR code, simply open pay.evhacs.com in your phone browser and enter the charger code manually.

Step 3: Confirm your charger

The charger code is printed on both the charger and the payment sign. Enter the code carefully to make sure you are starting the correct charging session.

Step 4: Check the charging price

The price per kWh is shown in the Prices section on the payment page before you check out.

Step 5: Enter your prepay amount

Enter the amount you would like to prepay for your charging session.

Any unused balance will be refunded to you after the session ends.

Step 6: Add your voucher and email address

If you have a voucher code, enter it before checkout.

You can also enter your email address to receive a receipt for your payment.

Step 7: Complete payment

Tap Checkout and complete your payment securely on your phone.

You can pay using:

• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
• Debit or credit card

Step 8: Charging starts automatically

Once payment is successful, your vehicle will begin charging automatically and you will be returned to the main charging screen.

The charging screen shows your live session status, energy usage and payment details.

During your charging session

The session screen continues to update while your vehicle is charging and shows useful details such as:

• Charging status
• Start time
• Energy used
• Payment status

How to stop charging

When you are ready to stop charging, use your vehicle’s own controls to end the session.

Your charging session remains linked to your phone while your vehicle is plugged in. This means no one else can access the charger or view your session details until your vehicle is unplugged.
