To put your Elliot online :

On an Android Device:
- Open the Setting app on your device.
- Tap Network & Internet.
- Select Internet.
On an Apple Device
- Select Settings.

The Elliot device should be installed next to the Distribution board in your building.
This is where your electrical supply enters the building.
Remove the Elliot cover by squeezing the clips at the bottom or the Elliot. (hint: The lid of a biro pen works well for this). Only depress the tall button on the right. The smaller button on the left performs a factory reset.
The green LED will flash rapidly when you have depressed the button for enough time
Return to your phone WiFi settings, a network name should now appear beginning with EVHACS followed by the Serial Number. Select this network. When prompted for a password enter the EIN number from the sticker on the inside cover of Elliot.

Open a web browser and enter the following on the address bar 192.168.4.1
The EVHACS installer menu should appear. Select Configure Wifi.

Select the correct WiFi network name from the dropdown. Enter the password.
If the connection to the internet is successful, a green LED will flash on Elliot and a ‘Connected to WiFi’ message appears.
If an unsuccessful message appears, repeat the steps taking care to enter the correct WiFi details.
Note: Your WiFi network must broadcast on 2.4Ghz. Most home WiFi routers by default broadcast on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. If the network name does not appear in the dropdown list, please check that this network broadcasts on 2.4Ghz. (See your router configuration guide for more information.
