The EVHACS charger is constantly energy load balancing between the heat-pump, electric vehicle and the rest of the home or building. In the case of high-power consumption from the rest of the home, the EVHACS unit will reduce the power going to the EV charger and/or heat pump.

Setting the priority will determine which device will the its power reduced. As soon as the high power consumption abates, this device will have its power increased again automatically.

Tap on the Priority icon on the home screen.

Toggle between either the Heat Pump or Car to set it as the priority device when load balancing.

NOTE: By setting the priority to the EV charger, this does not mean that your heating would shut off, it means that it will still run but maybe operations such as hot water heating would take a little longer.
